Are we truly a habitation of God and his most beautiful Holy Spirit? “If any unholiness exists in the nature, it is not by the consent of the Spirit of God.” This is a quote from a most notable man of God, John G. Lake.
I just love the doxology!
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him all ye heavenly host, Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! Amen
If you are believing for a thing, expect God to do it his way. If you try to help God, like Abraham did, you will set yourself back and you might get an “Ishmael.” Don’t force it. Follow the flow of God. When things are constantly blocked, it’s not time yet. Take the hint, and relax until the flow of God forms the path in front of you. Let God be God. Watch for the flow or it will come and go before you know. God is fully able to do it himself without your help. All God needs is your participation and your obedience.
To One and All,
This is what enjoying a daily walk with God looks like: Recently, God sent me without any prior notice to a conference I didn’t even know about. God put it on my heart to look up a certain ministry on line. I was happy to see that they were in town holding a conference. I arrived and enjoyed a couple hours of the conference.
Some people come into our lives briefly, and some for longer periods of time. But far too many times, our friends are only there for the good times and fair weather.
My friend and I were talking today. We pinpointed a financial need that we would come into agreement over. My friend said, “Sure, I will believe with you for that.”
I did not think that positive thinking over a situation is the new Christian format for how we attack our problems. I responded, “So just believing is all we need to do? Instead of having faith in our faith, why don’t we base our prayer of agreement on what Jesus and His blood have purchased for us, and stand on our covenant rights.”
